The Profit Leak Audit
We look at your actual numbers and come back with two or three specific things costing you money. One page. Yours to keep whether or not you ever hire us.
What you get
Findings, not a brochure.
Most "free assessments" are a sales call with a PDF stapled to it. This is a piece of work we'd otherwise charge for.
- Where your margin is actually goingFor agents: what splits, fees and per-deal marketing take out of gross commission income. For contractors: which job or category is running below your assumed margin.
- Deductions you're likely leaving on the tableThe categories agents and contractors most commonly fail to substantiate — flagged with what documentation you'd need.
- Your real tax exposure right nowAn estimate of what you should have set aside to date, against what you actually have. This is the finding people react to most.
- What we'd fix firstRanked by money recovered per hour of effort — including the fixes you can do yourself without us.
How it runs
You send the form
Takes about a minute. We only ask for what we need to tell whether we can help you.
Short call to get oriented
Fifteen to twenty minutes so we understand how your business actually runs before we look at numbers out of context.
You grant read-only access
QuickBooks view-only, or a statement export if you'd rather. We never get permission to move money — not during the audit, not ever.
Findings in 3–5 business days
Delivered on a call and as a one-page document. If we don't find anything worth telling you, we'll say that instead of padding it.
Why we do this for free: it's the fastest honest way for both of us to find out whether we're a fit, and it's cheaper than persuading you with adjectives. Some people take the findings and fix things themselves. That's a fine outcome.

Before you ask
Three fair questions.
There isn't one, but there is a reason: the audit is how we sell. If the findings are useful you'll probably want the monthly service, and if they aren't, we've learned that quickly and cheaply. You'll get one follow-up after delivery. If you say no, that's the end of it.
We request read-only access, so nothing can be moved or changed. Access runs through QuickBooks Online's own permission system rather than shared passwords, files are kept in access-controlled storage, and we delete audit data on request at any time. Details are in the privacy policy.
Then the audit is more useful, not less. Messy books are the normal starting point in both of these industries — nobody here is going to make you feel bad about a year of uncategorized card charges.
